"The writing is perfectly pitched for children aged 9 to 12, with one-liners and witty jokes that will tickle the ribs of adults too." (Daily Express)

"Ogilvy is a good inventive storyteller who writes with infectious enthusiasm . . ." Times Educational Supplement

Welcome to the official web site for Ian Ogilvy

According to the Daily Mail Ian was "the undisputed star of 1970s TV as the dashing Simon Templar in Return Of The Saint" but he's not just known for his work on TV.

There's been a multitude of films such as Death Becomes Her (1993), Witchfinder-General (1968) and No Sex Please: We're British (1973) to complement his work on over 60 TV shows.

And that film work is complemented by an ongoing stage career which has included a recent spell in London's West End (as Andrew in Anthony Shaffer's modern classic thriller Sleuth) and a tour of UK provincial theatres in 2003.

The curriculum vitae doesn't stop there though. Ian's dulcet tones can be found on a number of audio books, particularly noticeable are those where he reads the adventures of some chap called Bond...

The next adventure for Measle Stubbs, Measle and the Doompit, will be available from September 6th, 2007...

"This is a book that smells superbly foul-ideal fare for seven- to 11-year-olds. Teachers and parents take note: this would make for the perfect, serialised read-aloud before going home, going to bed or going spare."

The Guardian's review of Measle and the Wrathmonk

"Brilliant. It's a work that's comparable to Roald Dahl" Aberdeen Evening Express
